ITINERARY

Departure in the morning toward Huayna Potosí Base Camp (2 hrs by car).  We hike up to the old glacier (a stunning ice formation) on an easy path that goes from 4700m up to 4950m.

 If you’re feeling fine with the extreme altitude, you’ll have the option to hike up to High Camp at a dizzying 5,200m (3 1/2

hr hike).  Return to La Paz.
